Press Releases: Medallion® Cabinetry Gets Personal with Design
OAK BROOK, Ill. – February 4, 2014 – Medallion Cabinetry, announces the new Sangria and Peppercorn Ebony Glaze finishes, and showcases the company’s fully-custom painted cabinetry products for designers and dealers this week at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, part of Design & Construction Week™ in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Medallion Cabinetry continues to be a market-leader, staying in lock-step with home design trends, including hot colors and mixed materials. According to the Pantone®View Home + Interiors 2014 report, “…colors and combinations must be appealing, evocative, transformative and ‘on-target.’”
“At Medallion Cabinetry, we’re continually focused on delivering styles and finishes to inspire,” says Suzanne DeRusha, manager of design and innovation for wood products. DeRusha adds, “We want to help foster inspiration whenever the moment strikes, whether visiting us in a showroom, exploring our website, or browsing images on your phone.”
Harmonious Blends of Color and Style.
The new Sangria finish offers a fresh take on a classic, red stain. The result is a transitional look and feel, offered on knotty alder, cherry, hickory and maple. When paired with a pillow-mitered door style, such as the Medallion Venice door, the savory Sangria creates a masculine appeal; think sophisticated library or even upscale man cave. Also noted in the Pantone report, is the Moda theme featuring “both svelte and voluptuous” colors, including Red Dahlia, which is remarkably similar to the Medallion Sangria finish.
A warm gray, multi-layered semi-transparent stain, Peppercorn evokes a textured, rustic feel on multiple materials including cherry, knotty alder and oak. Addressing its Sculpted Simplicity theme, sporting colors of similar value, Pantone cites, “Colors are unassuming and do not take center stage – they are sophisticated tones with distinctively nuanced undertones that are elegantly harmonized.”
